BECOMING STRANGERS – Gruppenperformance
Performance von seite.30: Joyce Schmiedel, Eva Wohlfarth, Marie-Luise Lange, Antje Dudek im Rahmes des „Act.Move.Perform.

BECOMING STRANGERS – Collective Performance
Performance by seite.30 members Joyce Schmiedel, Eva Wohlfarth, Marie-Luise Lange & Antje Dudek // at “ACT. MOVE. PERFORM. Performance Art and Performativity in Art, Education and Research“ performance symposium, Dresden, September 30, 2017
BECOMING STRANGERS is the first non-improvised collective performance by seite.30. By carefully arranging our enacted images, we followed one of the central directions of the collective, which had previously determined solo and duo works. Wishing for freedom in creating our individual images, we found a form of collaboration that allowed for solos during moments of silence and slow movements by the other performers on stage. BECOMING STRANGERS also focuses on the material in relation to the performing bodies. The aesthetics and narrative implications of materials and objects were central for our work, which is why we designed them specifically for the performance.
