Bei uns beginnt der Sommer schon am Sonntag, den 1. Juni. Auf den unendlichen Weiten des Tempelhofer Felds in Berlin findet das Wettbüro Nr. 3. statt.
Für dieses Abenteuer brauchen wir Dich! Das Wettbüro sucht wieder 6-8 Künstler, die Lust und Zeit haben diesmal im öffentlichen Raum eine Performance zeigen.
Wettbüro Nr. 3 = |Wettbüro für Flugfeldforschung|
Lasst uns den frühen Sommer begrüßen, den Pollenflug, die erste Sommerglut, Volksvergnügen und das Grillen in Schrebergärten, das Fernweh durch die Lupe betrachten: ein ausschweifendes, -uferndes und -artendes Open Air auf Freiem Feld. Statt Nischen und Ecken; Weite, Flucht, Fernes und Nahes. Das Flugfeld lädt ein zu Interventionen und/oder den unterschiedlichsten Auseinandersetzungen mit der Fläche. Werdet Teil des Feldes und findet euren Ort.
Am 1. Juni planen wir einen geführten Spaziergang über das Flugfeldgelände, bei der die Performer an unterschiedlichen Orten Ihre Arbeit zeigen. Eine Karte weist den Weg und gleicht einer Abenteuerreise bei der Fiktion und Wirklichkeit ineinander übergehen. Anschließend wird gemeinsam gegrillt und auf den Sommer angestoßen.
Geschichte- Tempelhofer Feld
Das Tempelhofer Feld war einst Militärischer Übungs- und Paradeplatz der Preußischen Armee. Seine Geschichte ist eng verbunden mit der deutschen Militär-, Luftfahrt- und Fußballgeschichte. Seit der Schließung des Flughafens Tempelhof im Jahre 2008, wird der Platz zur allgemeinen Erholung genutzt und durch alternative Initiativen belebt, die das Volk in Natur-, Sport- und Kunsterlebnisse einbinden. Der Berliner Senat strebt an die freie Fläche zu bebauen, um neuen Wohnraum zu schaffen, während ein Großteil der Bevölkerung sich für den Schutz des Freien Feldes einsetzt.
Wenn ihr mitmachen wollt und Lust habt im öffentlichen Raum zu performen, schreibt uns doch bis zum 15.05.14 ein paar Sätze über euch und eurer Idee und schickt sie an wettbueroberlin@gmail.com Ihr wisst noch nicht genau, was ihr zeigen wollt? Kennen wir. Dann schreibt uns gerne in welche Richtung ihr denkt, damit wir eine ungefähre Vorstellung davon bekommen. (Übrigens: je früher der Performance-Wunsch eingereicht wird, desto eher planen wir mit euch.)
Wir werden eine Auswahl von ca. 6-8 Performern treffen, die zu dem Thema eine entsprechende Idee vorstellen. Bitte habt Verständnis dafür dass wir vielleicht nicht alle eingereichten Vorschläge zeigen können ? aber dafür gibt es dann 2 Monate später das nächste Wettbüro.

Das wettbüro ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe zur Förderung zeitgenössischer Aktions-Kunst – ein Brutkasten und Entwicklungslabor künstlerischer Ideen. An einem wettbüro-Abend probieren Künstler Performances skizzenhaft vor Publikum aus. Es gibt Raum für Unfertiges und Experimente. Die Atmosphäre bleibt familiär um den experimentellen Charakter und den ungezwungenen Austausch zu unterstützen: ein wettbüro ist eine Mischung aus Kunstevent und Küchen-Party bei Freunden.

The summer will begin on Sunday 1st of June for us! Wettbüro No 3 will take place on the boundless vastness of the Tempelhofer Feld in Berlin.
For this adventure we need You! The Wettbüro is searching for 6-8 artists that would like to show their performance in the public space.

Let?s welcome the summer together, pollen count, early summer blaze, barbecues and picnics in garden plots, laughter and the clinking of glasses. Watching faraway places through the magnifier: a debaucherous, sprawling and broad openair on the free field. Instead of nooks and hidden corners you?ll have a huge area, vastness, closeness and distantness. The airfield offers loads of opportunities such as interventions and/or site-specific approaches. Become part of the Tempelhofer airfield and find your place!
On June 1st we will offer a guided tour through the airfield. During that tour the performers will show their work in different places of the huge field. A map will show the way and it will be like an adventure tour where fiction and reality will merge into one another.
History of the Tempelhofer Feld
The Tempelhofer Feld used to be a military drill and parade ground for the Prussian Army. It?s past is closely linked to the history of German military, aviation and football. Since the shutdown of the Tempelhof airport in 2008 the field is being used and appreciated as a free public space for general enjoyment of nature, sports and arts. As the federal state government of Berlin is planning a development and using the space for new housing projects a large part of the people living around that area is trying to save the field and keep it as it is: a free field for everyone!
If you are interested in taking part and performing in the public space please write an e-mail to wettbueroberlin@gmail.com until may 15th. Please write us a few words about yourself and briefly describe your idea / motivation. You don?t know yet what you want to show? Yeah we know this problem with applications? don?t worry and send us just your thoughts and an tentative idea. (The earlier you send us your proposal, the better, because list could fill up quickly?)
We will choose 6-8 performers who will present an idea that fits into the overall topic:
Performance in the open space- Tempelhofer airfield.
Please understand that the participation is limited ? but the next wettbüro will take place two months later!

wettbüro is a bimonthly open-space-event and incubator for performative practices: artists show and discuss new performances in a familiar atmosphere. A wettbüro evening is something in between a vernissage, a mini-performance festival and an evening at the bar with friends: watch performances and talk about them with the artists and the people around. Each wettbüro features a mix of established and upcoming artists trying out new ideas.
